The five stories reprinted here provide a personal perspective on the impact of crime and the powerful impact of a restorative justice process. Three provide the voices of victims through the experience, with one telling why she decided to become a facilitator. One offers the story of an offender turned facilitator whose life changed after seeing the impact of crime on a friend. The remaining story tells of a facilitator’s growth and motivation for participating restorative process.
