Kay Whelan has helped to initiate several community projects in New Zealand, including the Hawkes Bay Restorative Justice Te Puna Wai Ora Inc. Since 1998, the group has facilitated 51 conferences and gained funding. Kay urges communities and new groups to demonstrate involvement and professionalism, and hopes to build respect for restorative justice in the criminal justice system.

We've Been Restoring Justice for More Than 40 Years

Your donation helps Prison Fellowship International repair the harm caused by crime by emphasizing accountability, forgiveness, and making amends for prisoners and those affected by their actions. When victims, offenders, and community members meet to decide how to do that, the results are transformational.
