Restorative justice is not a panacea, but
another option to keep adolescent students
connected to the pro-social environment
school offers. Suspending or expelling students
for behavioral issues seldom empowers
or teaches students effective ways to
interact with one another or with adults.
Instead, it encourages anti-school and antisocial
