According to Anne Seymour, the past decade and a half have seen tremendous growth in policies, programs, and protocols to enhance the provision of victim services in the post-sentencing phases of criminal cases. Various organizations have worked to support correctional agencies in their efforts to serve victims of crime better, particularly in terms of addressing gaps in the provision of corrections-based victim services. Seymour sketches official recommendations to enhance the provision of victim services by adult correctional agencies.
