Thirteen authors discuss relational justice, where primacy is placed on interpersonal relationships in society and between victims and offenders and the role these have on one’s sense of social duty. Relational justice is proposed as both an alternative theory of justice and a different sociological perspective. Relationships between victim and offenders damaged by the crime need to be repaired. Many of the authors are associated with the Jubilee Policy Group, and the Jubilee Centre in Cambridge.
