The annual general meeting was chaired by Michael Kilchling, Secretary of the Board and held in Lisbon. 2006 standing items were approved – report of the 2006 meeting, annual accounts, budget for 2008, annual report and membership matters. Additional funds need to be raised to meet the 2008 budget and support a larger staff. Past year activities included a seminary dealing with the training of legal practitioners on RJ, prep for the summer school, launch of the pool of trainers, seminars follow-up on Vienna and Helsinki, and possible set up of a network of policy makers in RJ. All projects were discussed. Committee reports were reviewed. Election procedures were reviewed and approved. A selection committee was composed.
