In order to demonstrate RGC’s potential, this
article: (1) Establishes the gap between the child
welfare and juvenile justice systems; (2) provides
an overview of restorative justice and family
group decision making; and (3) introduces RGC
as a multi-system strategy to bridge the gap that
exists between the child welfare and youth justice
