Before I describe two examples of restorative justice programmes
operating in prisons in a number of countries, let me make one cautionary
observation. Trying to run restorative justice programmes in a prison setting
raises a number of issues that have been discussed since early days in the
movement about how well restorative justice can be applied in the justice system. (excerpt)
