The report refers to international
evidence from the perspectives of
victims, offenders and the
community. It demonstrates that
while satisfaction and participation
rates among victims and offenders
may be positive across many
countries, additional research is
necessary when exploring restorative
justice in the context of reducing
recidivism rates. The report also
provides an up-to-date analysis of
restorative justice measures currently
operating domestically and makes
recommendations as to how current
schemes could be improved. (excerpt)
Your donation helps Prison Fellowship International repair the harm caused by crime by emphasizing accountability, forgiveness, and making amends for prisoners and those affected by their actions. When victims, offenders, and community members meet to decide how to do that, the results are transformational.
