Restorative Justice: Some Biblical Perspectives.

Thorburn, Stan
June 4, 2015

Source: (2003) An address to a breakfast meeting during the PFI Convocation 2003 in Toronto Canada.

Thorbun discusses the growing interest in restorative justice and the reasons policy makers are looking at such alternatives. He then turns to a discussion of Christianity and justice. He probes the support of punitive sanctions by many Christians and probes the teachings of both the Old and New Testaments to find a healing form of justice and mercy.
