Heather Strangxe2x80x99s new study, Repair or Revenge: Victims and Restorative Justice (2002), is valuable addition to the literature available to practitioners. While other studies have examined the impact of restorative justice options and processes on crime victims involved with them, the extent and methodological sophistication, not to mention acuity, of these investigations has varied. This study, however, is, as far as I know, the most scientifically balanced study to focus entirely on victim-oriented expectations and outcomes as a result of restorative justice interventions.
