In this Note, I will examine the significance and the necessity
of addressing wartime sexual violence against men
through transitional justice mechanisms, which have remained
relatively unexplored in scholarship and practice. I have restricted my analysis to international trials and truth commissions,
as these justice mechanisms play significant roles in
many transitional contexts.14 I will also supplement my analysis
by taking a victim-centric approach in order to explore the
therapeutic aspects of trials and truth commissions. (excerpt)
