Nyiramana describes her experience as a Tutsi during the genocide in Rwanda and then tells about the program she developed after the war to heal both Hutu and Tutsi communities affected by the violence. Her program brings together Tutsi widows and Hutu wives whose husbands are in prison to create dialogue and establish a sense of trust. The program has achieved much and is still in the process of expanding.
