The aims of this study were:
* To develop a picture of the impact of the Marshall
Inquiry Recommendations;
* Identify successes and challenges in recommendation
implementation;
* To bring into this picture the input, visions, and hopes of Mi’kmaw
community members who engaged in the research through a series
of community forums, focus groups and interviews;
* To help better understand issues of Mi’kmaw access to justice in
Nova Scotia; and
* To consider Mi’kmaw experiences within the Canadian Justice
System post-Marshall Inquiry. (excerpt)
