The teenagers admitted the offence and agreed to pay for the damage to be repaired. They also met children and staff at the nursery to offer a public apology for the damage they caused.
….Louise Maddocks, from the nursery said: “We are really pleased with this result. We were worried that because of the cost to repair the damage, we would not be able to finish the play area. But now, we have the cost of repairing the damage reimbursed and the children will get their play area.
It was also good to see the three boys coming into the nursery, facing up to what they had done and apologising to us all for their behaviour.
