This chapter is interested in the occurrence of the theme of reconciliation as it has become an instrument of dealing with the intricacies of difference and unity in the apartheid and postapartheid context. It investigates a number of theological texts that have emerged within the South African context that are of particular significance in the examination of reconciliation as theme in the context of racial realities.
