This is the format by which the Minnesota Restorative Justice Campaign will develop restorative practices in new communities. This is done by identifying stakeholders in the community, determining a target area, creating an action plan concerning restorative practices, developing evaluation procedures, and implementing the restorative practices action plan. This format resembles the successful strategy created by the Children’s Justice Initiative led by Minnesota Chief Justice Kathleen Blatz. This format has been developed so it can be used in any size or type of community, including communities of color. Author’s abstract.
Your donation helps Prison Fellowship International repair the harm caused by crime by emphasizing accountability, forgiveness, and making amends for prisoners and those affected by their actions. When victims, offenders, and community members meet to decide how to do that, the results are transformational.
