The Victims of Victim Participation in International Criminal Proceedings

Trumbull IV, Charles P.
June 4, 2015

Source: (2008) Michigan Journal of International Law, vol. 29:777-826

The article argues against victim participation in international criminal courts. It posits that victim participation does not provide any substantial benefit to them and it causes great cost to other groups of victims, including the actual victims of crimes that might be prosecutable in international court and future victims of human rights atrocities.
