Beginning with the observation that one’s perspective is central to how something is perceived, Hank Dixon shares personally about prison ministry from his perspective as an ex-convict now engaged in that ministry. He relates three experiences from his own journey into prison ministry as windows into a prisoner’s perspective on prison ministry, a perspective that is usually ignored when people consider the nature and purpose of ministry in prisons. From all of this he expresses his conviction that God’s grace is a life-giving circle: the grace that he as an inmate received from God and from people serving God in prison ministry, he now passes to inmates.
