Victim Support Service, Inc., in existence for over twenty years, is a significant provider of victim services in South Australia. Victim Support Service is firmly committed to the concept and practice of restorative justice, and it has developed a detailed policy statement based on restorative justice. This article summarizes key points of that policy: historical background on restorative justice; principles of restorative justice; and the importance of restorative justice on Victim Support Service policies.
