Jennifer Sharkey is a volunteer with the St. Leonard’s Society of Canada. The Society is a membership-based, charitable organization dedicated to community safety. As Sharkey remarks, restorative justice continues to grow within Canada and around the world. The St. Leonard’s Society actively supports efforts to develop a more restorative or transformative justice system. Sharkey describes her volunteer work with the Society on behalf of restorative justice. This work includes updating restorative justice links on the Society’s website, gathering data on restorative justice efforts by affiliates with the Society, and support for the observance of Restorative Justice Week in Canada.

Your donation helps Prison Fellowship International repair the harm caused by crime by emphasizing accountability, forgiveness, and making amends for prisoners and those affected by their actions. When victims, offenders, and community members meet to decide how to do that, the results are transformational.
