In this paper, the authors examine the Northam (Western Australia) project, a pilot scheme aimed at adolescents to break the trans-generational cycle of domestic violence. It involved an intervention program at the local high school. Providing information on the structure of the project and responses from participants, the authors discuss the efficacy of the school program. A particular factor hindering its efficacy was the limited time available to conduct it. Based on all of this, the paper concludes with recommendations to improve the program.
