Sawatsky, in this article, reviews Restorative Community Justice: Repairing Harm and Transforming Communities, edited by Gordon Bazemore and Mara Schiff, published in 2001. The first part of the review looks critically at the editors’ premise that the two fields of restorative justice and community justice are converging both in values and practices. The second part identifies several key concepts in restorative justice and community justice that the reviewer found were refined by the essays in the book.
